OPERATOR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- A doctor’s statement for a recent physical examination. (Applicable to cab operated cranes only.)
- Complete a Crane Institute of America Overhead Crane Safety & Inspector training program.
- Pass a written examination.
- Have a minimum of 2 years operating experience.
INSPECTOR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Complete a Crane Institute of America Overhead Crane Safety & Inspector training program.
- Pass a written examination.
- Have 3 years experience working in a capacity of operation, maintenance, repair, inspection, safety or supervision with overhead cranes.
A trainee certification is available for personnel who do not meet operator/inspector experience requirements.
