  • Hands-on training on the use and inspection of rigging hardware and wire rope.

RIGGER CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Complete a Crane Institute of America Rigging Safety & Inspector training program.
  • Pass a written examination.
  • Pass a practical examination if less than 2 years rigging
    experience.

INSPECTOR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Complete a Crane Institute of America Rigging Safety &
    Inspector training program.
  • Pass a written examination.
  • Have 2 years experience working in a capacity of operation,
    maintenance, repair, inspection, safety or supervision with rigging.

A trainee certification is available for personnel who do not meet rigger/inspector experience requirements.
